What if it rains on your outdoor wedding? Will it ruin the photos? One of the greatest fears of having an outdoor wedding is the chance of a rain storm. But it doesn't have to ruin your wedding day if you have a backup plan. If you have a reception area nearby the ceremony could be moved inside. Have umbrellas for the wedding party and the guests on hand in case of a light rain. Unless the wind is too great to endure this can still be a beautiful scene. But what about the photos? It all depends on the photographer. The photographer should be ready and look for ways to still get unique photos. There are ways to protect the camera from rain. The clouds and light rain can make some very dramatic photos. Water puddles give opportunity for reflections. It also depends on the couple. If it rains on your wedding day don't get all stressed out and give up. Be proactive and look for the a way to get good photos. This is still your story. If the bride and groom are daring enough they can get under an umbrella and make some very interesting images. The best advice is to be prepared and look for the opportunities.
